Just starting out

Hey, this is my first blog so I'm still trying to figure this out so i'm gonna make a few mistakes.but i will continue to post things like my videos and my books, chapter by chapter.

Prolouge

Hey Peeps! my buddy veronique is writing a book based on the characters from"the nightmare before christmas" y'know, The tim burton movie? Oe of many of tim burtons great movies? ya, you know. anyways i read the bit of the book she has one an i decided to post the prolouge, so here it is!

PROLOGUE
In a world where magic and time transcend
Lives a Holiday World, time without end
A Skeleton Jack and his beautiful bride
Have settled and now have a son to attend

The October month, the wind runs crisp
And bites to the soul like the will o’ the wisp
While monsters are scheming and planning away
Far off, a schoolgirl ends the school day

She enters her home, all chilled to the bone
Glad to be finally in a warm home
Kisses her mother, runs off to work
And makes plans for weekends and makes them work

That Saturday eve, October eighteenth
Her family went to the cemetery
To pay their respects to their brothers two
But as the others left, the girl stayed through

And as eve fell, she wandered through
Paths of the Dead, the tried and true
And as she passed an angel’s glare
A phantom hand came from nowhere
Grabbed her, pulled her through the crypt
And as the girl screamed, no one knew it...

Two worlds, so bizarre and unlike that it seems
That the pair could only be matched in our dreams
And now for our tale, our story begins
On a moonlit night, devoid of all sins
It seems easy to see yet is difficult to find
How these worlds, though different, became quickly entwined

Broken is all I am,
I am sick in the mind,
All my hope is lost,
Joy is an unbearable cost,

These wounds will never heal,
This bleeding will never stop,
Pain is all I feel,
Nothing more is real,

Pounding on the drums,
Hollow beat of misery,
A low drone,
A lonely tone,

You killed all my joy,
When you played me like a toy,
You watched and stared,
As my heart began to rip and tear,
Strumming on the bass,
Echoing sound of sorrow,
A saddening tone,
A painful moan,

Broken is all I am,doing what I can
To end my pain,
To finish the game,
Broken is all I am…
